We are looking to recruit a Handyman to work across our two sites in Dorking.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and multi-skilled person to help ensure a safe environment for our nursery and family centre. Candidates must have an awareness, or willingness to learn, of health and safety in schools, be able to update and maintain premises inspections and records and have a basic to intermediate skill in DIY/maintenance.
Candidates must be able to problem solve, be proactive, liaise with third parties, take pride in how the sites look and have good verbal and written English.
Role is contracted to 6 hours per week per week at Dorking Nursery School and 2 hours a fortnight at Mole Valley Family Centre over 42 weeks per year (39 term time plus 3 during school holidays)
Days and times worked is negotiable and flexible. There is potential for additional overtime as required.
Salary based on Surrey Pay Scale S4 £18,698 FTE
