Measles vaccination

Make sure your child is up to date with their MMR vaccination (measles, mumps & rubella). The vaccine rate is currently falling, with measles cases rising - measles is highly contagious, more than Covid, and can cause serious illness.  The MMR is a safe and and effective combined vaccine, free on the NHS. It is given to babies and children, the 1st dose at 1 year, the 2nd dose at 3yrs & 4 months. You are usually contacted by your GP but if you are unsure contact your surgery to make an appointment.
